Day 5: Adelaide/Class 1

After going for a quick run, we met the rest of the class at 8:45 am to walk to our first class. Happily, the classroom is located less than a block away from our apartments, so even though it was raining, the walk wasn’t too terrible. The beginning of class was fairly uneventful because none of us had the internet access we needed to actually use our computers. Thankfully, at 10:30 we were able to take a break from class for morning tea. It was delicious and we’re both becoming huge fans of it. After tea, we had abandoned all hopes of learning anything, as we had 3 technical experts working on all of our computers trying to get internet to work. They had success shortly before our lunch break, so all hope of learning was abandoned until after we ate.





After class, we braved the rain to go to the grocery store so we could stop eating out and potentially save money. We found the free in-town tram service and used it to get to the store. After riding it, we realized how close everything really is in relation to our apartments. Hopefully it will stop raining and warm up so we can walk around more instead of having to ride everywhere!





We found most of what we needed at the grocery store so we headed back to the room to eat and then turn in early again.
